Employees Encouraged to Wear Blue as Duke Seeks Second Win

Duke Football is offering faculty and staff discounted tickets to Saturday’s game against Northwestern.
The package includes general admission tickets for $15, normally priced at $25. Faculty and staff also get $5 in Blue Devil Dollars, which are redeemable at the concession stands in Wallace Wade Stadium.
On Saturday, the Blue Devils will look to start 2-0, which hasn’t happened since 1998 when they defeated Saturday’s opponent, the Northwestern Wildcats, 44-10, in Evanston, Ill.
The Blue Devils (1-0) and the Wildcats (1-0) are scheduled to kick off at 7 p.m. in Wallace Wade Stadium. Duke is hoping to carry the momentum from last week’s 31-7 drubbing of James Madison in front of 32,571 fans, the largest crowd since 2002.
Fans who come early can enjoy the pre-game activities at Blue Devil Alley, located next to Cameron Indoor Stadium. Blue Devil Alley will host a live band, inflatable games, face painting, concessions and merchandise sales.

The new Blue Devil Team Walk will take place at 4:40 p.m. Fans can cheer on the team as they walk from the Chapel to the North End Zone of the stadium.
To purchase discounted game tickets, faculty and staff should call the Duke Athletic Ticket Office at 681-BLUE or go online at www.GoDuke.com. Tickets can be picked up at the ticket office located in the South Lobby of Cameron Indoor Stadium off Whitford Dr. The ticket office is open Friday until 4:30 p.m. On Saturday, ticket purchases will be available at the North Gate of Wallace Wade Stadium beginning at 3 p.m. Faculty and staff must show a valid Duke ID to receive the discount.
