A Duke University staff member reported being robbed by two suspects near the intersection of Union Drive and Towerview Drive on Duke’s West Campus at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

The man said he left the Bryan Center and was walking along Union Drive towards Towerview when a vehicle flashed its lights at him from a parking lot. The two suspects then reportedly exited the vehicle and approached the man, demanding that he empty his pockets.  The man said he gave cash to the suspects and then fled the scene unharmed. He said he drove home a short time later and reported the incident to Duke Police, who immediately searched the area without results.

The suspects are described as two black males approximately 5’10,” one wearing a hat and glasses.  No description of the vehicle is available.
