Duke Announces Winners of Trinity Scholarships

Durham, NC -- Four North Carolina high school graduates are this year's winners of the Trinity Scholarship, an undergraduate merit award at Duke University.
The Trinity Scholarship, valued at more than $180,000, covers the full cost of attending Duke, including tuition, room, board and stipends for travel or study-abroad programs. They were established by Duke alumni to honor Duke's origins as Trinity College in Randolph County.
This year's winners are:
-- Abigail Leigh Bucher of Salisbury, a graduate of West Rowan High School and the daughter of Gayla and William “Bill” Bucher.
-- Nathan Thomas Holst of Greensboro, a graduate of Northwest Guilford High School and the son of Lynn and Paul Holst.
-- Hannah Elizabeth Hunt of High Point, a graduate of Westchester Country Day School and the daughter of Cynthia Darden and David Hunt.
-- Kathryn Elizabeth Hutchins of Jamestown, a graduate of Southwest Guilford High School and the daughter of Cathy and Terry Hutchins.
