DUKE PROFESSOR RELEASES DATA ON GRADE INFLATION AT 34
COLLEGES
Chronicle of Higher Education, Jan. 30 -- As a step toward dealing
with grade inflation, a professor at Duke University is compiling a
database of average grade-point averages over time at various
four-year institutions and placing the information on the Web. The
numbers so far, from 34 institutions, contradict those who blame
